Kona Farm Stay - Coffee, Ocean and Sunset View Home

Welcome to your private Kona coffee farm home. You’ll have the entire 1,500 sq ft, 3-bedroom, 2-bath house to yourself, including a large covered, ocean-facing lanai for dining, lounging, sunset watching, and stargazing.

Situated amongst tropical greenery, coffee and macadamia trees, and island wildlife, the home is bright, breezy, and set up for a relaxed and comfortable stay. The open living and dining space is styled with an eclectic mix of Bauhaus, mid-century, and 1970s pieces, with wide ocean views and sunsets that do not get old.

The home

• 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed, fresh linens, ample closet space, and garden or ocean views.
• Well-equipped kitchen, high-speed WiFi, and an easy open floor plan.
• Renovated main bathroom with an ocean view.
• Second semi-outdoor bathroom by the carport, great for rinsing off after the beach.
• Washer/dryer, beach umbrella, chairs, and towels, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Life on the lanai and on the land

At 1,300 feet elevation, evenings tend to feel cooler with a steady breeze. Mornings start with birdsong and farm sounds, and nights are quiet under a sky full of stars. From the lanai, you can catch the moon setting over the ocean and the first light on the mountain.

• 25 minutes to Kona International Airport (KOA).
• 15 minutes to Kailua-Kona.
• 7 minutes to Keauhou.
• 10 minutes to Captain Cook.

Kealakekua Bay and Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau are an easy day in the same direction, so it’s simple to pair ocean time with a cultural history stop.

For people who love to cook

The kitchen is set up for real cooking and stocked with spices and tools, including a Vitamix blender, food processor, air fryer, toaster oven, rice cooker, Weber grill, and quality cookware. If you’d like, we can also arrange a box of local organic produce delivered to the house for your stay.

Guest access

The entire home is yours, including the lanai, laundry, driveway parking, and the paved areas immediately around the house.

Good to know

This is an active farm. Guest access is limited to the paved areas around the house, including the driveway, carport, and the paved path on the ocean side of the lanai. You may see wild chickens and, occasionally, wild pigs. Please do not feed the animals, and close the driveway gate each evening. As with many homes in Kona, you may occasionally notice some daytime road activity.
