Kona Farm Stay - Coffee, Ocean and Sunset View Home

Welcome to your private Kona coffee farm home. You will have the entire 1,500 sq ft, 3-bedroom, 2-bath house to yourself, including a large covered, ocean-facing lanai for dining, lounging, sunset watching, and stargazing.

Set among lush tropical foliage, coffee trees, macadamia nuts, and island wildlife, the home is bright, breezy, and designed for relaxed, comfortable living. The open living and dining space is styled with an eclectic mix of Bauhaus, mid-century, and 1970s furnishings, with sweeping ocean views and unforgettable sunsets

The home

• 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (each bedroom has a queen bed, fresh linens, ample closet space, and garden or ocean views)
• Well-equipped kitchen, high-speed WiFi, and an easy open floor plan
• A newly renovated bathroom with an ocean view
• A second semi-outdoor bathroom by the carport/patio, perfect for rinsing off after the beach
• Washer/dryer, beach towels, and everything you need for a comfortable stay

Life on the lanai and on the land

At 1,300’ elevation, you will enjoy cooler evenings and a steady breeze flowing down from the mountain and up from the ocean. Mornings begin with birdsong and soft farm sounds, and nights are quiet and restorative under a sky full of stars. Watch the moonset over the ocean, the sunrise over the mountain, and let the island’s natural rhythm reset you.

• 25 minutes to Kona International Airport (KOA)
• 15 minutes to Kailua-Kona
• 7 minutes to Keauhou
• 10 minutes to Captain Cook
• 20 minutes to Kealakekua Bay (swim with dolphins)
• 25 minutes to Two Step at Hōnaunau Bay for world-class snorkeling
• The Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau (City of Refuge) is nearby, making it easy to combine history and ocean time in one day

For people who love to cook

We love cooking with fresh local produce and have a well-stocked kitchen with spices and cooking tools, including a Vitamix, Cuisinart food processor, air fryer, toaster oven, rice cooker, Weber grill, and quality cookware. If you would like, we can also help arrange a box of local organic produce for your stay.

Guest access

The entire home is yours: all 1,500 sq ft, the large covered lanai, the semi-outdoor bathroom, laundry, driveway parking, and the paved grounds immediately around the house.

Good to know (farm setting + safety)

This is an active farm. For safety and to protect the land, guest access is limited to the paved areas around the house, including the driveway, carport, and the paved path on the ocean side of the lanai. You may see wild chickens and, occasionally, wild pigs. Please enjoy them from a distance and do not feed the animals. We also ask that you close the driveway gate each evening.

As with many homes in Kona, you may occasionally notice some daytime road activity.
